  8. bakonfreek Says:

@merctp45 my 16GB memory card can hold 6 hours of full 1920x1080p video on the AVCHD format…the format this camera uses…I think, so take 6×4 and how many hours do you get?

  9. merctp45 Says:

@Tr3N3ty so how many hours of shooting?

  10. northeastatc Says:

@bakonfreek heres what you want if you want amazing zoom without loss of any quality sony DCR-SR68E it doesnt shoot in full hd but you will be able to zoom in a like an 1/8 of a mile as opposed to beeing able to zoom in across your kitchen with 5 x later

  11. merctp45 Says:

SO HOW MANY MINUTES OF RECORDING!!!

  12. Tr3N3ty Says:

@merctp45 yeah, like a hard drive, only it’s a flash drive meaning no moving parts. that’s good if camera gets banged a bit.

64GB of embedded Flash memory? meaning like hard drive?

  21. northeastatc Says:

@bakonfreek ive owned over 20 camcorders ALL sony all the way back to hi 8 tapes in the 90s ive never seen one with only 5x throw it away cuz its junk im tellin ya 10x is the lowest end you will find for optical and digital zoom is useless because you loose quality quick if you do find one with 5 x then it was sold in walmart 15 years ago and it was probly a vhs-c lol believe me i know camcorders i had a trv530 d8 about 10 years ago and it had 25x optical and that was great get a 60x

  22. merctp45 Says:

@2frogy2 how many minutes would u say

  23. bakonfreek Says:

@merctp45 other than the fact that the embedded flash memory is just a chip, then yes, like a harddrive (which isn’t a chip).

  24. bakonfreek Says:

@northeastatc my VHS camcorder has 5x!! 10x is actually pretty OK. most TV cameras (that are bigger) have like 15x

  25. 9870gamer Says:

    @RenoGregory yup
