Worth to switch to ASUS UL80AG Laptop?
I’m going back to college and I am wondering whether this laptop can do what I need. I mostly do web stuff, school work, as well as very little low intensity gaming (like Half Life 2 or Portal), and some video editing. I recently bought the Sony VAIO NW, but the battery life for taking it to class is too low. It can hardly do 2 full hours on normal usage. The ASUS boasts on a 10-12 hour battery, but it has a lower CPU.

No, you would suffer slower processor speeds and get slightly better battery life. Not worth the extra money at all.

i would say get a better battery will save you much more money, but if you want a new computer i say look around more for better laptop at best buy or other stores.
maybe you could trade your laptop for a desktop and go buy a new laptop. because since you want to play games its not gonna cut it on laptops.

I wouldn’t. I would just get a 9 cell battery for Sony (if there is one, of course)
